The Trident symbolises a village's level of service. We have 3 levels of service, depending on the comfort and services provided: 3, 4 or 5 Tridents. Trident is also the name of the Club Med catalogue which brings together all information concerning villages.

What are Crazy Signs ?

They are very special moments, specific to Club Med, when G.Os come together to share the village's traditional dances with G.Ms.

How to apply at Club Med?

Applications posted on our recruitment website are processed in priority by our pre-selection department. We therefore advise you to apply via www.clubmedjobs.jp

What type of employment can Club Med offer?

GO work on seasonal contract basis. Summer season start from May to Oct and Winter season start from Nov to Apr. A season varies between 4 to 6 monthes, depending on the village. Season contract can be renewed basied on your performance and job availability. However, some of our child supervision jobs are available for shorter periods, in particular the summer and Christmas and New Year holidays.

Can I choose the village I want to work in?

Our Human Resources managers decide on the village to which you are assigned, depending on available positions and your skills (professional experience, foreign languages, qualifications, etc.)

May I be assigned to the same village as a friend?

Our applications are processed individually. Our teams are brought together according to available positions in each village We cannot therefore guarantee that you will be assigned with a friend.

Is it compulsory to speak a foreign language?

It all depends on the profession you are applying for. In any case, speaking a foreign language is always a quality that we appreciate.

Are travel expenses to and from the village refunded?

We pay for travel costs from your home to the destination village (subject to terms communicated with the assignment).

Am I able to go home during the contract period?

Our G.Os and G.Es are free to travel wherever they want during their weekly day off and paid holiday. However, we cannot pay for your travel costs to and from your home during the season.

What is my accommodation like in the village?

Although it depends on the season and the village you are assigned to, often times our employees are housed in double or triple rooms.

Do I need to pay for my accommodation?

For G.Os in Japan, 30,000 YEN will be deducted from your salary for accomodation, food, electricity and facility use.

What about cleaning of my accommodation?

The cleaning staff does the housework in your room once a week. You are however required to keep your room clean throughout the season.

May I bring my family with me to the village?

You may invite your family to the resort as a holiday (there are conditions to apply), but we are not able to accomodate the families of our employees in our domitory.

Can I connect to the internet in the village?

Not all of our villages have wifi installation. It therefore depends on your assignment. However, you may use the public computer shared by all G.Os to access the Internet.

How should I dress in the village?

During the day, you should wear your GO outfit or, if required by your job, your professional outfit. In the evening, the GO team must wear an outfit in accordance to the evening's theme .

Where can I get the list of evening themes?

Once you have been recruited, the administrative department will communicate the list of themes most frequently used in the village.

Are work outfits supplied?

Professional work outfits and G.O/G.E work outfits will be supplied at the beginning of the season, and will be laundered only when necessary.

Are sports available to me in the village?

All our G.Os, during their time off, can take advantage of the village's sports facilities. However, they should always give priority to customers Sports equipment is loaned free of charge, according to availability.

Do I need to pay for meals?

Meals having at restaurant in Club Med resort are included in 30,000 YEN financial contribution in Japan villages.

Do I need to pay for drinks at the bar?

For those working in Japan, meals taken at the restaurant is included in the 30,000YEN expense fee. Our G.Os may be served soft drinks free of charge (soda, fruit juice, coffee, tea, etc.).

May I invite friends and family to the village ?

For all invitations to the village, the GO should obtain prior approval from the village manager. With this invitation, and depending on availability in the village, a reduction on the full-board (excluding transport) may be granted to the GO.

What reductions may I be offered?

Our GOs may benefit from personal reductions on the Boutique, Discovery and Spa in the village.

May I benefit from preferential rates on skiing equipment or passes when I work in a winter resort?

Skiing equipment is loaned according to availability. You also benefit from a major reduction on the season's ski pass.

Do I need to bring my own professional equipment?

Professional equipment such as knife sets or sports equipment is available to you at the village.

Do I need to bring my own bed linen and towels?

We supply and wash all bed linen and towels.

Am I entitiled to Paid holiday?

You will be entitiled to 7 days annual leave per season (6 month).

Are interviews held only in Tokyo?

Face to face interviews are held in Tokyo office. However, if you live far from Tokyo we will be able to conduct interviews over the phone or through the  internet.

How do I know which positions are opened?

We post our opened positions on our website here. However, we accept applications for any positions throughout the year. If your preferred position is not listed as available, we advise you to apply to our Job Alert, where we will notify you when the position opens up for application. Those who complete the application process will be listed as a Stand-by applicant for 1 year until a suitable position becomes available for offer.

What is a Stand-by?

If we do not have a suitable position, you will be on the Stand-by list for 1 year until we can offer you a position. We will inform you as soon as we identify a suitable position for you.

Which position requires a professional work outfit?

Professional outfits are requried by the Kitchen Staff.

Are work outfits laundered?

Unless your job requires it, you are required to wash your clothing yourself, whether professional or personal. All our villages are equipped with washing machines, driers and irons.

May I play sports in the village?

G.Os are entitled to make use of the sports facilities within the village during their breaks and days off, but must always prioritize the guests. Sports equipment will be rented free of charge when possible.
